Description:
18 year old Kimberly who had never gone shorter than chin length before wanted to try something new. She messaged us excited to try something on the first day of our week long shoot and she said she was down to do whatever we wanted. We had an opening 30 minutes from the time she messaged us and she said she could be to the salon in 20 minutes so we booked her in. Short while later she arrived at the salon and agreed to play the hat game where you draw a number from 1 being the longest cut possible to 10 being the shortest which is bald, out of a hat to determine what cut she got. She was excited to see what cut she would end up with and just glad to get rid of her long hair. The rules of the game however state you must draw 3 cuts out of the hat with each one being shorter than the last. She drew a 9 but we told her it would be a 6 so we could do more cuts. We let Monica the stylist pic the cut and she went with an undercut a-line bob which then turned into a cute undercut bowl cut. With her second number she drew a 9 which meant she was going to get a buzzcut and we tried a few lengths starting at a number 8, then a number 4, then a 2, then shaved it with no guard and a finished it off with a nice foil shave. Kimberly absolutely loved her final cut and couldn't stop rubbing her bald head.
