Sierra AZ (2020)
Description:
Sierra who had previously shaved her head before growing it super long is ready for a change and wanting to try something new. Originally she wanted hard part side cut but after on the day of the shoot she changed her mind and opted for us to pick the cut for her. We had her play the hat game where you draw a number from a hat to determine which cut you get next. The numbers range from 1-10 with number 1 being the longest cut possible to number 10 which is bald. The rules of the game however state you must draw 3 cuts out of the hat with each one being shorter than the last and to add a little drama to the experience for the girls, as they draw we have the clippers turned on so if they do draw that 10, we go directly into the head shave.
Sierra drew her first number which was a 5 which is a bob. With her second draw she got a 8 which is a real short pixie. After getting the short pixie it was time for her to draw her final number which was going to be a buzz or a head shave. With the clippers turned on she opened up the number to realize it was a 10 at which point Monica drove the clippers down the middle of Sierras head. After completing the shave Monica used the foil shaver to give her that bald look. Sierra liked her new look but admitted it was a huge change. She stated she will likely grow it out to a pixie cut and stick with short hair for the foreseeable future.
