Amanda who had super long hair for most of her life decided to go short over a year ago and got a super short bob which she loved. With her new found love for short hair she is ready for another big change and opted for us to pick the cut for her. We had her play the hat game where you draw a number from a hat to determine which cut you get next. The numbers range from 1-10 with number 1 being the longest cut possible to number 10 which is bald. The rules of the game however state you must draw 3 cuts out of the hat with each one being shorter than the last and to add a little drama to the experience for the girls, as they draw we have the clippers turned on so if they do draw that 10, we go directly into the head shave.
Amanda drew her first number which was a 4 which is an undercut bob. After getting the undercut bob it was time for her to draw her second number which was going to be a shorter cut. With the clippers turned on she opened up the number to realize it was a 10 at which point Monica drove the clippers down the middle of Amandas head and she couldn't stop smiling. After completing the shave Monica used the foil shaver to give her that bald look. Amanda liked her new look but was looking forward to when it got to a super short buzzcut. She stated she will likely grow it a tiny amount and stick with short hair for the foreseeable future.
